• To comply with legal obligations and for internal record-keeping purposes.
• To use your image in photographs or videos for marketing purposes, as outlined in our Photography clause.

By becoming a member of What The Fit 4 Gym and utilizing our services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy, Consent, Terms and Conditions, and Cookies Policy. You also consent to the terms outlined in our Photography clause, which allows us to use your image for marketing purposes.

If you provide us with any health or medical information, you consent to the use of this information for the purpose of tailoring your training program and ensuring your safety while using our facilities.

4. Terms and Conditions

By using our services and facilities, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

• Gym Fees: Monthly gym fees are due in advance and must be paid using our automated card payment system through PayStack. Fees are non-refundable and secure your membership position within our exclusive boutique gym.
• Annual Fee Increase: Membership fees are subject to an annual increase effective on the 1st of January each year.
• Termination Notice: A notice period of one full calendar month is required to terminate your membership or downgrade your package.
• Reactivation Fee: A reactivation fee of R300.00 will be applied if you wish to reactivate a pre-existing membership.
• Gym Etiquette: Members are expected to follow gym etiquette, including using sweat towels, wiping down equipment, and avoiding disruptive behavior.
• Gym Closure: The gym closes for a total of three weeks annually during Easter and Christmas. Membership fees are based on a 4-week monthly cycle, with any additional week considered ‘FREE’.

5. Security of Your Information

We take the security of your personal information seriously. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Payment information is securely processed through PayStack, and we do not store your payment details on our servers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. When your membership ends, we will securely dispose of your personal information in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

7. Photography and Marketing

As part of our commitment to promoting the gym and its community, we may take photographs and videos of our clients, staff, and facilities. These images may be used for marketing purposes, including on social media, pamphlets, and flyers. By agreeing to this policy, you consent to the use of your image in these materials. If you do not wish to be photographed or included in marketing materials, please notify us in writing.

By using our services and facilities, you acknowledge and accept that you do so at your own risk. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless What The Fit 4 Gym, its owners, management, staff, trainers, and agents against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of our facilities or participation in our activities.

As part of the membership sign-up process, you are required to submit a profile photo and proof of identification. This information is necessary for security purposes and to ensure that the correct person is utilizing the gym facilities. Your profile photo and identification will be stored securely and used only for the purposes outlined in this policy.
