What The Fit 4 Gym must be managed effectively, safely and profitably, in order to be sustainable and serve its members well. The following conditions make this possible and will need to be agreed to by every person utilizing the facilities:
NB: Please ensure that you ask Storm Loots or any one of our amazing personal trainers to add you to the members only WhatsApp group for all important notifications regarding the gym. Only Admin can send messages on this group. (+27 76 983 8573)

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

• Gym Fees:

- Monthly gym fees are payable in advance for the client’s upcoming training. Payments will be processed via Netcash Debiting services on the date selected by the client. Unless otherwise agreed in writing with an authorized representative of What The Fit 4 Gym, the debit will occur on the client’s chosen date at the start of each month.

- All gym fees and membership payments are non-refundable, regardless of usage or circumstance. By signing up, members acknowledge and agree to this policy.

- Please note that this monthly fee reserves your desired training slot/s and/or provides you with a membership position within our limited membership, exclusive boutique gym. (Once our membership base has reached its limits, all clients will be placed onto a waiting list to join our exclusive boutique gym).

- The Client may not participate in any training sessions or utilize the gym’s facilities with an overdue account. Rates shall escalate at the Proprietor’s discretion.

- It is essential to acknowledge that, as an exclusive boutique gym, we do not allow the suspension or freezing of memberships under any circumstances. This policy has been implemented to safeguard your position within our limited membership framework. It also serves to maintain seamless gym operations.

- Regrettably, if we were to suspend memberships, it would render the gym incapable of maintaining operations during significant holidays, public holidays, flu outbreaks, and other considerations.

• Annual Fee Increase

- Please note that gym membership fees are subject to an annual increase effective on the 1st of January each year. The new membership rates will be communicated to all members in a timely manner prior to this date. By continuing your membership, you agree to the revised fees.

 

• Termination Notice / Downgrading Packages or Memberships:

- To terminate your training or to downgrade any of the packages or memberships, a notice period of one full calendar month is required.

 

• Reactivation Fee:

- In the event of reactivating a pre-existing client, a reactivation fee of R300.00 will be levied in addition to the monthly membership fee for administrative purposes.

 

• Gym Etiquette

- We are a respectful and inclusive community, and members are expected to share gym spaces, equipment, and facilities fairly and considerately at all times
- All members are required to check in BEFORE their training session by scanning the QR code at the front desk using your Octiv app.
- Please always use a sweat towel when utilizing equipment in the gym for hygiene purposes.
- Wipe down any equipment and mats after use. Sanitizer and paper toweling are supplied in the gym for this purpose.
- Please do not drop the weights onto the floor from any height and don’t just let go of the cables that operate the machines. Not only does this damage and break the equipment, but it is not necessary, and it can be very disruptive to the other members.
 - There will be a R50 fine charged for doing so 😛! #Notjokingthough.
- For safety and hygiene reasons, closed shoes must be worn at all times, except during yoga, stretch classes, or similar activities. Socks must be worn at all times.
- Please be mindful of shoes, zippers, and buttons on clothing, as they can damage the leather surfaces of our machines. Activewear is the appropriate attire for our setup. Thank you for your understanding.
- All members are required to maintain the cleanliness and order of the gym by adhering to the following: Deload all weight plates from machines after use, return barbells to their designated stands, wipe down equipment using the provided sanitizer and paper towels, and ensure all cable attachments are reattached if removed. These practices help ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for everyone.
- Out of respect for fellow gym users, members are asked to avoid occupying benches, equipment, or machines unnecessarily. Please refrain from sitting on your phone while others may be waiting to use the equipment. 

 

• Gym Closure:

- WhatTheFit4 Gym and Storm Loots close for a total duration of three weeks annually, with specific closures during Easter and Christmas. It's important to note that your membership prices and packages are determined on a 4-week monthly cycle. Consequently, in months with a 5-week cycle, we consider the additional week as 'FREE' to accommodate for the gym and Storm’s closures during those periods. Your understanding of this adjustment is appreciated.

This Agreement, by and between WhatTheFit4 (“Proprietor”) and (“Client”) is made this April 22, 2025. The parties hereby agree that the following terms and conditions shall govern the Trainer’s and What The Fit 4 Gym’s provision of personal training services to the Client at the premises of What The Fit Four (Pty) Ltd t/a WhatTheFit4 (“Proprietor”) situated at 33 Troupant Avenue, Magaliessig (“Premises”).

 

Add-On Services


Group Classes, Personal Trainer and Gym Fees:

Understanding The T&Cs of Your Desired Membership:

Private and Semi-private Clients:

• The Trainer's fees for personal training services rendered to the Client are paid directly to the Trainer. Additionally, the Client is responsible for paying the Gym fees directly to What The Fit 4 Gym.

• Monthly fees for private and semi-private clients have been discounted and are charged at a fixed monthly fee, based on your desired package choice.

• Booked time slots are non-refundable. If 24 hours' notice via writing or WhatsApp has been provided, make-up sessions will be arranged according to the client’s and trainer’s availability via one of these four options: (Catch-up sessions may be made up within the same month only. Failure to catch up your session will result in it being forfeited)
- option 1) Client can join any of the group classes.
- option 2) Client participates in their normal session/s via online, during their normal designated training time.
- option 3) client can be placed onto a waiting list, should another cancellation occur, the client can fit into that time slot. (Please note that this does not carry through to the next month!).
- Option 4) The trainer types out and sends the planned program for the client to complete during a more convenient time.

• If the Client is more than fifteen minutes late for a training session and has not notified the Trainer, the Client will be considered to be a no-show and will be charged for the full session, without participating.

• If the Client is consistently late, the loss of a specific time slot and / or training may occur at the Trainer’s discretion. Preferred time slots cannot be guaranteed to the Client after lengthy vacations or time away without prior agreement.

• Please note that we require one full Calander months' Notice to terminate your training

• Group classes have been discounted and are charged at a fixed monthly fee based on your desired package choice.

• Booked sessions are non-refundable. They may be made up within the same month using any other group class. Failure to catch up with your session will result in it being forfeited.

• If the Client is more than fifteen minutes late for a training session and has not notified the Trainer, the Client will be considered to be a no-show and will be charged for the full session, without participating.

Medical Fitness.

The Client undertakes to promptly notify the Trainer if, during the course of the training programme, the Client’s medications, health condition, or medical limitations should change. The Client understands that it is recommended that clients undergo a yearly physical, (or more frequent physical examinations if advised) and consultation with the Client’s physician, to determine their optimal physical activity level and diet. The Client acknowledges that the Client has both had a physical exam and been given their physician’s permission to participate in a training regimen, or the Client has decided to participate without approval of their physician
Photography.

WhatTheFit4 Gym has in-house photographers.
The purpose of photography and videos of the gym, clients and its staff are for the use of professional marketing images and videos of the facility and its growing community members. Marketing is subject to but not limited to pamphlets, flyers and social media platforms.
By accepting the photography clause, the client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the gym, its officers, employees, agents, and assigns from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, and liabilities arising from or in connection with the use of the client's image in photographs or videos taken at the gym. This indemnification shall include, but not be limited to, claims for invasion of privacy, defamation, or violation of any other right or interest.

• Client acknowledges and accepts in-house photography for the use of professional marketing

 

Waiver of Indemnity.

• The Client acknowledges that they have read and understand this indemnity waiver and agrees to be bound by the following:
• I enter and use the “Premises”, parking areas, surrounds and facilities and participate in any activities at the “Premises” entirely at my own risk.
• I warrant that I have been advised of, am aware of, and accept that I will be exposed to a variety of risks and dangers at the “Premises” which have
been explained to me in detail in this document.
I comprehend the risks & the implications thereof.
• Such risks and activities include without limitation: the gym equipment, toilet and shower facilities, recreational areas, and wild animals in or around
the “Premises”. Although there have been no security problems, I understand the need to take the necessary precautions.
• I agree to obey at all times any warning notices and instructions of the “Trainer/Proprietor”.
• Visitors and/or Clients hold harmless and indemnify the owners, management, staff, trainers, agents, directors of the “Proprietor” and other guests (“the Indemnified Parties”) against any consequences of visiting, participating in any activities or incidents at or arranged by the “Trainer/Proprietor” and I waive any claims I may have. This includes any loss of, or damage to, personal effects or property, any indirect, consequential, or special loss or damage, financial loss, illness, injury, harm or death howsoever caused.
• I understand that the personal training program has been designed specifically for me based on a variety of factors that I have disclosed. I assume all of the risks known to be inherent in the participation of physical activity, including but not limited to: heart attack, stroke, heat stress, serious injury to bones, joints, muscles, other skeletal components, or death.


The undersigned parties accept the above Agreement according to the terms and conditions contained herein.
